The Strathmore Polominos are a community water polo club based in Strathmore Alberta. We offer programs for youth ages 6-17.

Swim Like a Dolphin is a fantastic opportunity to grow grassroots water polo. It makes learning to swim fun and develops a love for water polo. The goal of the program is to prepare children to learn to swim and play water polo while having fun.

🤽 12U / 14U / 17U Co-ed Strathmore Practices 6:30-7:30pm
This program is for new or returning athletes who want to developing their swimming and water polo skills! Time spent on swim technique, water polo skills and FUN! 
INCLUDES-City League, festivals, invitationals and Provincial Finals opportunities-participation is encouraged but not mandatory.

12U,14U,17U swimmers must be able to swim the width of the pool (belts are acceptable) and comfortable in the middle of the pool.

⭐ Twice-Weekly Best Value Option
Athletes wanting maximum skill development and additional pool time
Coach recommendation: “The more you practice, the better you get!” The twice-weekly option is offered at a reduced rate compared with the equivalent pool and coaching time in the single-day packages.

Professional Coaching, pool rental, AWPA and WPC fees, equipment, water polo caps, marketing.  Delivery of the “Swim Like a Dolphin” program.

Additional costs:
*Swimsuits are not included in registration fees* 
Team suits (optional), with our logo, can be ordered. 
Athletes may incur additional costs if they choose to participate at the Provincial level OR play in Community League.

Steps to Complete Registration
Please follow the steps below to complete your 2026–2027 Strathmore Water Polo Club registration.

1. Complete Respect in Sport for Parents
At least one parent/guardian must have a current Respect in Sport Parent Program certification.
Complete Respect in Sport for Parents here
Certifications completed through other sports organizations, such as hockey or soccer, are acceptable.
Your certification must remain current for the entire water polo season.
If your certification expires during the season, you are responsible for renewing it.
Your certificate number and expiry date must be entered into your RAMP account.

2. Go to RAMP Registration

3. Log In or Create an Account
Log in to your existing RAMP account or create a new account.

4. Start Participant Registration
Under Participant Registration:
Select Season: 2026–2027
Select the Account Member you are registering
If your athlete is not listed, add them as a new account member

5. Select Your Division
Choose the appropriate division for your athlete.

6. Select Your Registration Package
Choose the appropriate age-group package based on your athlete’s birth year.
Important Fee Information
The package price shown for Strathmore Water Polo Club does not include the required:
Alberta Water Polo Association (AWPA) fee
Water Polo Canada (WPC) fee
These fees are non-refundable and are paid directly to AWPA and Water Polo Canada through the RAMP registration system.

7. Complete Registration Information & Waivers
Enter all required participant information.
Review and sign all required waivers.
Optional Water Polo Canada Donation
During registration, you may see an option for:
Donation to Water Polo Canada (2026–2027)
This donation is completely optional. There is no obligation to donate. Please adjust the donation amount according to your preference.

8. NEW for the 2026–2027 Season — Proof of Date of Birth
Alberta Water Polo Association now requires every participant to upload proof of date of birth for age verification.
Acceptable documents may include:
Birth certificate
Alberta Health Care card
Driver’s licence
Passport
Please have a copy of one of these documents available when completing registration.

9. Complete Payment & Submit Registration
AWPA & Water Polo Canada Fees
These fees are paid directly through RAMP during the online registration process.
Strathmore Water Polo Club Fees
Club registration fees are paid directly to Strathmore Water Polo Club by:

Cheque
E-transfer to strathmorewaterpoloclub@gmail.com
For payment arrangements, please contact the club by email.
Important
Your registration is not complete until your Strathmore Water Polo Club fees have been paid.
After completing your online registration, you will receive a confirmation email from the registration system.

10. Add Your Respect in Sport Certificate to RAMP
Once the Respect in Sport Parent Program has been completed, make sure the certificate information is entered into your RAMP account.
To update it:
Log in to your RAMP Registration Account.
Select “My Account Members” from the menu on the left side of the screen.
Find your child’s name and select “Edit.”
Locate the fields below the athlete’s RAMP ID number.
Enter:Respect in Sport Parent Certificate Number
Certificate Expiry Date
Save your changes.

Registration Fee Reminder
There are two separate types of fees associated with registration:
AWPA & Water Polo Canada Fees
Paid directly to the organizations through RAMP.
Strathmore Water Polo Club Fees
Paid directly to Strathmore Water Polo Club by cash, cheque, or e-transfer.
